What are orthobiologics?

Orthobiologics are anti-inflammatory, anti-apoptotic substances in your own body that help you heal quickly.
These include cytokines, growth factors and platelets, which recruit stem cells to damaged areas, accelerate recovery and help you feel better, sooner.
The healing triggered by this process can often prevent or delay the need for surgery.

How do orthobiologics work?

We extract the most effective healing proteins from your blood, concentrate them into a powerful cocktail and re-inject them into the site of pain, injury or trauma to promote tissue repair and accelerate healing.

How long does it take?

The extraction and reinjection takes roughly 60 minutes. You can return to work immediately.

How often should this procedure be done?

Three injections within a six-month time period, usually performed at least three weeks apart.

What results can I expect?

The need for surgery is often greatly reduced when injuries are treated with orthobiologics before the damage progresses.
Pain usually diminishes soon after the first injection, but the real goal of orthobiologics is to trigger the body into healing itself. This takes time, and is usually seen after the second injection, after which the patient will feel noticeable pain relief.
